Our Clothing Center provides underprivileged, school-aged children in Milwaukee with essential items. Each child receives 7 pairs of underwear & socks, 5 shirts, 3 pairs of pants and 1 hoodie, winter coat, hat, gloves, dictionary and book.
Who Is Eligible?
A school principal or social worker refers families in need by providing them with a voucher. For more information about the voucher program, please contact Sally Lautmann at 414.526.2574.
Hours
The Children's Clothing Center is open during the school year:

Wednesdays from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm

Thursdays from 8:30 am to 11:30 am
-
2nd Saturday of each month from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm.
A school voucher from the school principal or social worker is required.
Location
The Children’s Clothing Center is located at the southeast corner of Vel R. Phillips Avenue and Brown Street, near Milwaukee Public Transportation routes #19, #21, #40 and #80.


We are always in need of new or gently used clothing in children’s sizes 3T-18 and all adult sizes (for our high school students). You can drop your donation off during Clothing Center Hours, or contact Gail Proite-Adams to make other arrangements. See the current list of our most wanted items here.
